Become ill in the vacation hardly anyone will count. If it happens however, an immense of costs could come to you. With an insurance for journeys abroad you are prepared in such cases. The protection costs starting from six euros per year.
The magazine “Finanztest” took 43 tariffs in its May issue (05/2008) of journey abroad health insurances under the magnifying glass. Nearly each insurance got the test note “very well”. The most favorable with “very well” note offer came of the Debeka insurance from Koblenz. Here one is already insured for six euros in the year comprehensively.
“Finanztest” recommends to all members of a legal health insurance (gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung) to apply for an abroad health insurance. A yearly insurance is usually valid for single journeys up to 42 days. In addition, there are special tariffs for longer abroad stays. As per AGB, the legal health insurance company does not pay the costs of ambulatory and stationary treatments as well as of medicines in many countries outside of Europe.
Even within Europe not all costing are covered by the legal health insurance . Costs of the patient return transport, which can cost very much money, debited to the insured. The insurance is responsible however only for the patient return transportation, if it is medically necessary.
Hint: Who is privately insured, should examine whether the health insurance covers world-wide all risks. Absolutely clarify whether your insurance takes over the costs of the patient return transportation.
Health insurance card
Who goes away within Europe, should carry the European insurance card EHIC (European Health Insurance Card). You must request the card during your health insurance. It replaces the former foreign patient paper. The card is sufficient, in order to be treated medically in case an accident or an acute illness abroad within European.

I got this trivial explanation about the idea behind multi-core processor during Advanced/MicroTCA Seminar in Munich.
